Bronze Sculpture - Sports - Athletic - Martial Arts - Oshidashi
Artist Thoughts: Inspiration for this work came from photographs taken in the mid 1920s at the second Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo. Oshidashi is one of the most common kimarite (winning techniques). The winner pushes his opponent out of the dohyo without grabbing his mawashi (belt).
