While it may intrigue and captivate you, a piece of art that you purchase from the gallery may not have all the creative elements you desire.

Ever looked at a painting, absolutely loved it but wished it was created in blue tones to complement that antique rug in your living room?

You probably also wondered whether commissioning an artwork just for you would be as much as your children’s college funds. Commissioning artworks may sound like a luxury reserved only for the rich and the elite, but this is not the case. The Stravitz Gallery makes it easier than ever, regardless of your budget.

If you love art and our artists as much as we do, we can streamline the process for you. Request a completely new piece or use an existing piece of art as inspiration. Let us know your budget. Determine the size and medium of your custom piece. These elements will come from your source of inspiration for the commission; while it is not necessary for you to think of every detail, the more detailed description you provide, the more visually similar the work will be to what you envision.

Once these elements have been agreed upon, we will collect 50% of the total cost up front and the remaining 50% is due when the art is completed.

You may cancel your request up until you accept the artist’s proposal. You cannot cancel or return your commissioned art once the artist starts working on the piece.
