“Hang Time” is a bronze sculpture depicting three basketball players—one in a blue jersey leaps for the hoop, while two in white jerseys attempt to block him—capturing energy and dynamic motion on the court.

“Hang Time” is a bronze sculpture depicting three basketball players—one in a blue jersey leaps for the hoop, while two in white jerseys attempt to block him—capturing energy and dynamic motion on the court.

This was inspired by one of the most dynamic and powerful basketball shots the artist had ever seen. The challenge of creating and capturing the action was exhilarating. This sculpture is on exhibit with the National Art Museum of Sport College Athletics and Academic Excellence; it will then be permanently on display at the new NCAA headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Dimensions: 29″h x 19″w x 13″d and weighs approximately 56 pounds.
