Most of my life I have been a lyric soprano, performing classical music in recitals and operas, as well as maintaining a voice studio for students. Moving to Richmond six years ago, I began painting with Marjorie Perrin, Matt Lively, Joan Elliott, Curney Nuffer, and now Chuck Larivey. My inspiration is from an appreciation of line in art, movement from tension to resolution. I find it very expressive to move paint around the canvas, giving voice to my art.
