There is no mistaking the artwork of Emma Knight – musing, moody, and quirky. After living and painting in Savannah, Georgia for twenty years, Emma has returned to her hometown of Richmond, Virginia and is thrilled to paint its cityscapes as well as neighboring landscapes. Her many years of work as a makeup artist inspire many of Emma’s paintings. Abstracted florals based on everything from perfume to galactic neighbors are another subject that she enjoys exploring. Her unique style of painting all these subject matters unifies them into one subject -Her take on how she views the people, places, and atmosphere around her.
Emma Knight studied art at the University of Mary Washington in Virginia. Her paintings have been shown in various venues nationwide.
