My art is an expression of my view of the world, where BEAUTY and LIGHT take center stage. I firmly believe that with close observation and a touch of imagination, beauty can be discovered in the most ordinary of things. And if those “things” are bathed in strong sunlight, then so much the easier in locating the beauty. My goal as a painter is to portray that gorgeous light (think golden glow as sun is setting or rising early in the morning) using vibrant colors that dance and sing on the canvas and foremost, to elicit emotion from you as your eyes wander around my latest creation.
