“I Got It, No I Got It”

When Richard Stravitz was asked what inspired him to sculpt “I Got It, No I Got It,” his response was: I was passing a playground with many four and five year old kids playing soccer.  The animated parents were cheering their children on and running up and down the field.  The kids all wore shin guards that were so large it was a wonder that they could run.  It was a humorous scene I did not want to forget.
