C. Douglas Aurand is president of Siska Aurand. Prior to starting Siska Aurand, he worked as project manager for two Norfolk, Virginia Landscape Architecture firms. He also taught landscape architecture at Oklahoma State University. He is the author of Fountains and Pools: Construction Guidelines and Specifications. He is an expert in water feature design. An avid gardener, Doug currently serves on the following community boards: City of Norfolk Design Review, Norfolk Botanical Gardens Board of Directors, Norfolk Botanical Gardens Landscape Committee, Fred Huette Foundation Board of Directors, and as an advisor to the Virginia Professional Horticultural Society. Doug received his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Penn State University in 1978, and completed his Masters in Landscape Architecture from the University of Virginia in 1980.
